Anyway, to say that healthcare doesn't enter into the situation of someone that large is denial, plain and simple. You really shouldn't jump into such deep waters so ill-equipped, my friend. That actually isn't surprising. I've noticed that all of the aftermarket "OEM" white based replacement backplates (any using the white housing for colored glass...yellow, all the whites, green) are always just slightly thicker and can prevent tighter fitting cases from going on the phone. I always just chalked it up to aftermarket parts not being as exact as genuine Apple parts, but now it seems like it's actually a legitimate difference.

Maybe this is payback for what happened last year with Gizmodo. Apple figures well this is what you get for basically getting an early unveiling of the iPhone 4 last year. We'll just give it to you even later than we usually do hehe. :cool:

My upload is better, but my download is the same.
I've had instances in which my download was 650kbps and my upload has been 1200kbps. It's been all over the board, but I'm still happy with it. Did you just install the new update?

This is great news. If the macbooks go Core 2 Duo then I will have a very difficult decision to make. Regardless I'm going to hold for about 3 weeks to see how these things work out for everyone. If they are, for the most part, problem free then I'm all over this.

I really don't think that the 6870 will be in the 27 inch version. The current card (5750) has a power draw of 86 watts. The 6870 has a draw of 151 watts. Too much heat.

The 5750 in the current imac is actually a 5850m. A 6850m is actually slower than that. They will need a 6950m or 6970m to be an upgrade.

I agree. I like MS strategy. They want to get their foot in the door and compete, then sell you all kinds of other ish. Look at the XBOX/XBOX 360, they may sell them at a loss, but with the Software, XBOX Live, and the Marketplace, they are making their money.

We had one of these as a courtesy car from BMW, while our 3 series was being serviced this summer. I booked a 1 series but they didn't have any, so we were given this Countryman or whatever this long Mini is called. It is crap, crap, crap. It's an annoying car and for what it is, it's overpriced. The retro shape with the stupid door arrangement makes it even more awkward to live with. It has a cheap feel and hideous dials with average interior. I would rather drive a battered, rusty old E30 coupe with a fraction of its value than a Mini Countryman. That would just send the wrong message that I don't mind spending money on a car but that's the best - a joke theme car - that I could come up with.
I don't pimp my own drive or any old crap and I'm not willing to pay BMW to do the same for me.

I'm a BMW fan and have thought about restoring an E30 or picking up an E36 M3. I personally would never buy a Countryman but the Cooper S and JCW appeals to me. I understand that this car may not appeal to some people but I personally dig it. It's very peppy and has soul. It does something for me and it's what matters. I've looked at a new BMW 335i...RWD...twin turbo. On paper it has everything a car guy would like but meh...too generic for me.

It really does seems as if the cutesyeness of the iOS is spreading over to OSX.
