Makes me wonder if he has always seriously mentally ill, but was always able to hide it with drugs and alcohol and kept refusing treatment.

I'm always amazed by the amount of abuse the human body can withstand. How is she not already dead? How is it that her bones don't break under the load? Astonishing, really.
Like most people her size, the amount of time she stands is very limited indeed. When out and about, she's scooter-bound. Her husband drives her most places.
Another plus-size adult model, the 600-ish "Goddess Patty" (the one that smothered Wee Man in the "Magic Trick" clip in Jackass 2), did a few "daily life" vids that made it to DailyMotion. One such DailyMotion clip depicted her walking from her bathroom to her living room couch-- maybe 5-7 meters (15-22 feet), and she was totally out of breath afterward.

802.11n isn't due for ratification until 2008. There is a "Draft N v 2.0" due out next year that is supposedly close to what 802.11n will be but there's no guarantee anything will work until the final spec is released in 2008.
I think he means that the wireless card in the new MBP may be the same as in the new iMac, which is apparently 802.11n draft compliant

Several reasons. It's very fast - Mannheim is about a year, and Dusseldorf about two. You can't raise invalidity of the patent as a defense. You have to very early in the case explain your theory of non-infringement, etc. The system works very differently than the U.S.

As cmaier said, the Court system works very different in Germany and the other german speaking countries such as Austria or Switzerland.
A lawsuit takes a very long time.
Also a precedent is not working the same as in the US here.

I bought an iMac April 16. If apple releases a new model May 3rd, will they pity recent buyers and allow exchange/return for the new iMac????
You have until the 30th to return it with the 14 day return policy so I would return it now and just buy the new one when it comes out

I hope people noticed that the picture has a lot of flare on it (the green hue) that makes it look bigger than it is.
Also is it just me or does the bottom half of the phone look the same - ie the whit and black glass at the bottom.
However this is the biggest no issue since time immemorial...

Previous iMac HD upgrades have involved removing the screen - yes, really.

You need the local drive anyway. Are you saying you will delete all your songs from your local drive once you put them in the cloud? Now that seems impractical.

I'm excited about the update. I plan on getting a new iMac shortly after OS X Lion comes out.
I'm really hoping for an inexpensive SSD primary drive and 2TB secondary "spinning" drive.
A solid video card would be nice, but I really don't game that much, so that's not a deal killer.
I expect this may be the last of the classic 2005-style (L bracket, screen with "chin") iMacs produced. In 12-18 months I expect Apple will launch a new style of iMac with no "chin" and a drafting table style multi-touch screen.
