What I've Learned...

Oh my...what I've learned.  I'm not really sure where to start because I've learned SO MUCH.  I have surprised myself, actually amazed myself, at what I have been able to accomplish since beginning my blog. Not just the projects around my house...but the technology based skills needed to run a decent blog.  And I have to say that if I can do it, anyone can do it.

First of all...don't ever underestimate the power of Google.

Next would be to listen to the advice of those who have gone before you.  I have said before that I have met the most wonderful people since starting my blog.  I learned very early on that they knew a lot more than I did and that I needed to listen to what they had to say.  Some of the best improvements to my blog have occurred after I received a bit of blogger advice.  Thank you to all.  :o)

Don't blog for the sake of blogging.  In other words, don't post every day just so you can say you post every day. (Does that make sense?) I have mentioned Grace and Tammy in previous posts.  When I first started my blog I was stunned at the TIME they gave me.  I have tried to be more aware of this when I ask bloggers questions.  Everybody's time is so valuable.  I promise I will not ever waste yours with posts that say nothing.

And last but certainly not least...

So many willing bloggers left me comments and joined me as a follower.  They were encouraging and helpful. The least I can do is help someone else along the way.  That is my promise.
