Mary Poppins!

I had the opportunity yesterday to attend
 the touring production of Mary Poppins.
I remember going to the movie theater
with my mother and brothers
to see the movie when it came out in 1964.
I was 5 years old.
We went downtown to a theater that doesn't exist anymore.
The thing I remember most is that there was an intermission.
Odd thing to remember...

I jump at the opportunity to spend time with one (or both) of my kids.
So when my daughter asked me if I wanted to see this show
I (of course) said yes.

She took care of getting the tickets...
making the dinner reservation
and inviting a good friend and her daughter to come along.

I wish you all could have come too.
It was wonderful.
