Deal of the Day

I have wanted this rug for over a year now. 


I have seen it on various websites for pretty much the same price.  Maybe a $20 difference depending on the shipping charges.  I got my latest Garnet Hill catalog yesterday.  They are running a rug promotion until March 15th.  So here is the breakdown:

The size I want is 5 x 8.
At Garnet Hill right now it's $262.00. + shipping to my area $16.95 = $278.95.
At Shades of Light right now it's $282.00 + $37.00 shipping = $319.00.

Here's the kicker...I found a Garnet Hill promotional code for $20.00 off a purchase of $100.00 or more which brings the rug down to $242.00.  Incredible. 

So with shipping to my area and tax (can't forget Uncle Sam) my total came to just under $275.00. 
That's a savings of about $45.00.  So...don't tell my husband but I ordered it.
